01Publisher and hosting

appdetailing.lu is published by Auto Ventura S.à r.l., a private limited company under Luxembourg law, with its registered office at 9, Rue d'Olm, L-8281 Kehlen, Luxembourg, VAT number LU34889919.

App Detailing studio: 4, Op De Leemen, L-5846 Fentange (Hesperange), Luxembourg. Contact: [email protected] · +352 691 548 249 · +352 691 115 843.

The website and its data are hosted on servers rented by Auto Ventura S.à r.l. from Hostinger. The domain name and network protection (firewall, HTTPS encryption) are provided by Cloudflare.

02Data controller

Auto Ventura S.à r.l. is responsible for the data collected on this website and at the studio. App Detailing is a brand of Auto Ventura S.à r.l.: there is no other company behind it.

One account, two websites

Your customer account is the same on appdetailing.lu and autoventura.lu, the two websites of Auto Ventura S.à r.l. Your details, vehicles and appointment history are managed in a single system, the company’s.

For any question about your data, write to [email protected] with “Personal data” in the subject.

03The data we collect

When you book

First and last name, email, phone, vehicle size and, if you provide them, make, model and plate; the services chosen, the date and your comments; a company’s billing details (name, VAT, address) if you request them.

When you create an account

The same details and, if you fill them in, your address, date of birth, gender and preferred language. Your password is stored encrypted: nobody on our side can read it.

If you sign in with Google

Google sends us your name, email address and profile picture. We receive neither your Google password nor access to your other Google data.

When you request a quote

Your details, your vehicle, your message and the photos you attach.

When you pay

The deposit is processed by Stripe. We receive the payment confirmation and amount, never your card number.

When you contact us

The emails, WhatsApp messages and calls you send us, for as long as needed to answer and follow up.

Technical data

Like any website, our servers briefly log the IP address, browser and pages requested, for security and error diagnosis.

04Why, and on what basis

  • managing your bookings, quotes, appointments, invoices and account: necessary to provide the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
  • keeping invoices and accounting records: a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR);
  • securing the website and accounts, preventing fraud, alerting the team to a new booking or request: our legitimate interest in running the studio (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
  • sending you news and offers: only if you have agreed, and you can withdraw that consent at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

We make no automated decisions about you and do no profiling.

05How long

  • invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by Luxembourg law;
  • customer account and appointment history: while the account exists, then 3 years after the last contact;
  • quote requests and photos: 24 months at most, unless they lead to a service;
  • consent to news: until you withdraw it;
  • server technical logs: a few weeks.

06Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself at any time from your customer area (Profile → Delete my account). You receive a confirmation by email.

  • deleted immediately: your login (on both websites), your sessions, your consent to news and your mailing subscriptions;
  • what we must keep: invoices and the history of completed services, with the details they contain, for the legal period of 10 years; this data is used for nothing else;
  • what we keep as proof: the date of your request and the address concerned, so we can show it was handled.

An account with an upcoming appointment or an active subscription cannot be deleted until they are cancelled.

07Who has access

The studio team and Auto Ventura S.à r.l., each for what concerns them. Our technical providers act on our instructions and only for their task:

  • Stripe: deposit payments and refunds (Ireland, European Union);
  • Resend: booking, invoice and security emails;
  • Google: sign-in with your Google account, if you choose it;
  • Hostinger: hosting of the website and database servers;
  • Cloudflare: domain name, security and delivery of the website;
  • Telegram: internal team notifications (name, contact details and requested service when you book or ask for a quote);
  • WhatsApp (Meta): only if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.

We do not sell, rent or exchange your data with anyone.

08Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers (Resend, Cloudflare, Google, Telegram, Meta) may process data outside the European Union. These transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

09Cookies and local storage

The website only uses what it needs to work:

  • session cookies, when you are signed in to your account;
  • with your consent, a cookie that remembers your chosen language;
  • during a booking, your selection is kept in the browser tab and erased when you close it.

No advertising cookies, no analytics tools, no social-media pixels. The details, and how to change your choices, are in our cookie policy.

10Your rights

At any time you can:

  • access your data and get a copy in a readable format (portability);
  • correct it: most of it can be edited directly in your customer area;
  • have it erased: from your customer area, or simply by asking;
  • restrict its use or object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • withdraw your consent to news, from your customer area or the link in every mailing.

Write to [email protected]. We answer within one month at most, and may ask you to confirm your identity to protect your data.

11Security

The website is fully encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored encrypted, and access to data is limited to the team members concerned, with personal credentials. Payments go through Stripe, which is PCI-DSS certified. Every time your password changes, you receive a confirmation email.

If a data breach put you at risk, we would inform you and the CNPD within the time limits set by the GDPR.

12Minors

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data about people under 16.

13Complaints

If you feel your rights are not respected, please contact us first: we always look for a solution. You can also contact the Luxembourg data protection authority (CNPD), 15, Boulevard du Jazz, L-4370 Belvaux — cnpd.public.lu.

14Changes

This policy may change, for example if we change providers. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page; if there is a significant change, we will let you know by email.
